Beit Bracha ("House of Blessing") is a Prayer, Retreat & Healing Center, overlooking the Sea of Galilee and many places featured in Jesus' ministry. It caters for up to 24 guests and is set in the quiet Jewish village of Migdal, the home of Mary Magdalene, is about five minutes drive north of Tiberias city.
Situated among olive trees, colorful bougainvillea and the sweet-scented magnolia, Beit Bracha is a place of peace and rest. It is available for Israeli Messianic Believers, Arab Christians, CMJ staff having a break from Jerusalem and Christians from overseas who are participants in prayer tours or individuals who want a base for prayer.
Ted and Linda Walker, who run the Center, need a small number of volunteer helpers, who will mainly be involved in cooking, household duties, maintenance and care of the grounds. Although the buildings are air-conditioned, helpers would need to be able to cope with very hot weather from May to October.
This is a small community; therefore it is especially important that volunteers are people of gentle spirit who will work in harmony with the rest of the team. Since unity among the staff will contribute significantly to the healing atmosphere of Beit Bracha, volunteers will initially only be accepted for three months, renewable by mutual agreement. It is important for volunteers also to have a prayer concern for all the people of Israel as well as to serve the needs of guests in a loving way.
